Self Portrait

Hello! I wanted to have some time to start illustrating again because I miss it. I wanted to make something that I thought that was challenging, so I did this. Why my freaking face? Well its not easy at all to be self aware of your face and painting a face is not easy too. Besides I tend to mess up the grey shades, and then need to correct them, then I get bored.

"Loop" Artwork

New artwork! :)
This represents Kriture's world in a stylized way. You can read Hello World, things are fueled by a weird mechanism that keeps this world running. You can find a sky that has always ideas coming down, setting down, fauna, flora, bubbles coming out of the second layer of Kriture's world, that result from the heat of a weird liquid called imagination. You can see that this liquid is flamed by a baby bottle which switch is currently set to ON.

This happens because Kriture's concept is all around ideas coming from a girl, and are stored in a box, where life are created out of those ideas. The day this girl grows up, there will be no one fueling this world, and the baby bottle will be set to OFF.

Second Wave of Soft Kritures

Second Wave of Soft Kritures will be launched two days ago! I've made a video so you can see better what is a Soft Kriture :)

I will be listing a new one everyday on etsy for 14 days around 6 p.m US time.
Why 14 days? Because of February 14th, Valentine's day. Its a good gift for your valentine. Get one before they get away!

I realized I never uploaded doodles, I confess I do not have much time to draw, usually the draws I do are part of final projects. But here you go watercolor meets ink making a explosion of joy I guess.

Evolution Wallpaper

Hello!

I've uploaded the new wallpaper. It's called Evolution, for those who don't know, the making of this wallpaper is in this blog from scratch :)

You can compare your Kriture with this scheme, the more complex the kriture, the more intelligent/useful he is.
I've tried to do something that transmits tranquility, serenity, solitude and makes us feel calm. I've been using the wallpaper on the computer and the poster in the wall and I feel like I was successful at the job :)

Arriving Home

If you remember our last "adventure" you will notice that it's been a while since I've written. Right now we arrived to the place where we live, long story short, meeting Formit wasn't that good. I say this because now, I don't feel safe around Fugjub, who was introduced to us by Formit.

So we followed Formit, always careful, because we didn't knew where we were, but Formit, as always, seemed so happy and with that smiling face of doom.
We arrived to a place with a notorious lack of grass, which is a very uncommon thing around here. There were also some objects that fell from the sky and shrubs with long foliage.

We arrived to Formit's destination, where his friend was waiting... I seriously regret this day. We found a hut that they built together, like if they were married or something. It was full of leaves and soft herbs crossed making a knot between reeds. We never saw that before, that's when I understood that I was in front of two intelligent Kritures, that possibly wanted to fool me.

As soon as Formit's friend saw him, he ran into his arms like a kid missing his mom. That was very weird because this friend is Fugjub, and he has a carnivorous face! It's scary!

When I was introduced, Formit's face and Fugjub's face were an antithesis. One was looking so proud of us, and the other one was totally hating us.

I was scared as hell, and I promptly said that me and my friends wanted to just go home, we didn't want any trouble and we just followed Formit because he said so.
I bet Fugjub was dreaming of us in grilled version at that moment.

Then they both talked for a moment,

...and in the end I was almost forced to carry all their crap to our place. Formit seems to know stuff that we need, and that's why I let them come with us...

And what do we have now? A Kriture who likes to steal food without permission and eat it in a distant place. Damn! The other day, Fugjub was just too lazy to get his own food, so he waited until Glanell arrived with those sweet sweet berries, and "PAW!", he stole them and Lizzle starved.
But at least we have a hut. Well, just Fugjub and Formit sleep there, but Formit said he is going to help us build other kinds of shelters with the objects we've brought. I sure hope so..

Evolution Poster

Hello!!
I know you miss Merilok, but since I'm his creator I think he won't mind if I write some posts here before him :)

Here is the latest poster! It shares some of the features of Kritures during their evolution. This work looks really great on my wall because it has a wide subtle background, it almost looks like the wall has been painted. I have it also as a wallpaper for my desktop and is awesome, makes me feel serene and it looks that all my folders are organized.

Introducing Kriture bugs

Today I will introduce you to Kriture Bugs


In Kriture's world, bugs are obsessed with vanity, they need to feel pretty, and unique.
Each one goes on a search to find jewels and shiny substances to cover their body. The older they get, more classy they become.
They are very competitive, and each have their own secret places to find shiny beads to look absolutely stunning.
They can be found near places with hot colors on the ground, and they are rare to find, an live on the first layer of the Kriture world. All kritures that I had presented live on the second layer, there is where the sky can be seen.
The studs protect them from being eaten and gives them good camouflage.

Stickers pack #1!

Hello! Today I present you with the first pack of kriture stickers! They are full of colors, teeth, fur, ears, cuteness and silliness. Best of all is that they are big, and make you smile :D The biggest is Hummo with 3.9" height (10cm), 3"(7,5cm). 

This pack features Wittz, Hummo, Fugjub, Merilock, Formit and the sixth one is randomly chosen and its not identical to those already in the pack. Some packs include discount coupons.

Imagine what you could do with those! Stick them into your wardrobe, in your doors, in your table, in your laptop, in the streets, in your school book, in a background made by you! 

But I think Hummo will be just perfect into your toilet seat, he practices Geophagy, but... xD

I think I have never mentioned, but I hate blogspot, even thought I have been using it since forever. It doesn't let me place things right, it does not display pics at original size sometimes, like this one, and messes up resolutions :| I'm dying to upload the new website =|

This illustration is almost done :) I intend to print it this week and some other kriture goodies ;D

Today I had to wrap Hector and send him by mail, and I took some pics to share with you the process.
This is really hard, besides time, it requires loads of love, it's really exhaustive and it dries my heart every time!

I'm working on a poster, introducing the evolution of kriture trough time. You'll be able to know if your kriture is smart or dumb as a doorknob. I'll be updating you with the progress ^^

Falling Objects

As we were finishing our journey across the new world full of new mountains,

                    Furzz feels something weird, a funny noise coming from above.

Random objects started to fall from the sky. It was literaly raining objects!!!
The girl who lives outside the box must be proud of her imagination, she just found a new way to kill us!!! I don't mind if she make kritures fall into our box, but heavy objects?!


We imediately started to run, and found a place to hide.

As we were trying to avoid a painful death, we saw this weird new kriture named Formit passing by. He was carrying stuff on his back to some place.

             We gained some courage, and called him.

"Psst, green stuff? Can you please help us? What is going on??"








"Sure dude! Don't be afraid, I can help you. But first, I need to get to a friend, we are building something and he's waiting for me!"

We were afraid, because he seems to have more legs than usual, and antennas, maybe it could read our brains, or something. So I asked the others if we could trust him for a while, after all he is also one of us, and I should keep an eye on everything and everyone new around here.

He seemed too nice in the first place, and answered promptly as if he knew something we didn't!
So we decided to follow him, but always keeping an eye on him...









 
And so we did. We found out that he's perfect 
for bringing junk with us in our journey! He seems to be very strong and confident. Well, a little too much confident. So, just in case, I'm always checking if anything weird happens with him around.

He brought some really big leaves that we have never seen before, and told us to get wrapped inside them.
At first I was like "no way" but he insisted, and said that it would protect us from cold, bugs and some stuff that could fall again from the sky.












I tottaly knew that all he wanted was to eat us up, I mean really? "Wrap yourself up in these leaves, and go to sleep?" He must think I dont know what a Mc Donald's wrapper is.





Tonight we are sleeping all together, and I will hit him with my mighty scepter as soon as he starts to get funny with us. Because I can, and oh I WILL kick ass.
He got this weird fancy hut to sleep, he must think he's so smart or something. I'll punch him in the face! Anyhow, instead of using the leaf, Dodo just started to eat it. God, I need some new friends...
